Xivio is 4 today. Reflecting on everything that happened since that launch brings me to one final conclusion:
- To this day I do not regret a single thing about Xivio’s implementation, or the choices I made.
I would like to thank Habbo Hotel for ripping off elements of Xivio’s design and reaffirming this for me. Seven separate, original ideas. All taken on a whim blindly (or through suggestions by their users, who used Xivio).
That’s all in the past. Shame on me for innovating in a toy. All these years dedicated to one thing. I’d like to thank the users of Xivio that continue to use it to this day. You saw something in my effort that the major corporations, and other game developers did not. You are the reason I created it.

Today on Xivio’s 4th birthday I am reminded of all of the hard work that Gavin put into Xivio. Gavin developed Xivio totally on his own with no outside help. What Gavin did alone major companies do with a team (6-20) developers. Over the past 4 years, Gavin has fought with me constantly about what he believed was the right thing to do with Xivio.
Today on Xivio’s 4th birthday, I wonder what would have happend with Xivio if i would have not fought Gavin about his ideas and just let him do what was best. I am sorry to Xivio’s users and also to you Gavin. It is my fault and only my fault that things didn’t turn out better.

That’s a pretty interesting post you got there, I can tell 5 years of working on xivio payed off with the unique items the users can get and the ATM and also the trash bin is genuis I would have never thought of that. All I have to say is Good Job Gavin

Sorry I stopped showing up, para. But I suppose you didn’t like me very much, ‘cuz I was pretty annoying. And I was pretty obsessed with that, so sorry for that too. Thanks for that vio coin head (and the 2 million actual vio that one time). But word, it’d be weird if you remembered me. So, yeah. Just checked up on my past and thought I’d say hi.
